Frequently Asked Questions:

1. What are the necklace chains made of?

Our chains are 18k Gold filled and Sterling Silver. They are tarnish and corrosion resistant. However, we recommend following the jewellery care to ensure a long life. 

2. What is the wire made of?

The wire is made of copper and is plated. The wire is also tarnish resistant. 

3. Are the crystals real?

The majority of the crystals I use are 100% natural crystals, if they are manmade or altered in any way, this will be written in the notes. There are some crystals which are manmade for example opalite and sandstone. Although they are manmade they still have healing properties and look stunning. There are also some which have been heat treated (for eg. some citrine). Lastly, there are some with elements added to the outside to enhance their appearance (for eg. aura quartz). Aura Crystals are created through a technique which electrostatically bonds minerals and precious metals to the surface of real crystal creating magical aura colours.

4. Can you do custom orders?

Please contact me regarding custom orders. Depending on stock availabilities we may be able to fulfil a custom order. 

5. How can I make an order?

If the website is not stocked, the best place to order is during a live sale or message us on Instagram. I will post updates on social media and on the website for when the next restock date and time is. Please be on the website and ready to order at this time. 

6. Can I get the jewellery wet?

We do not recommend wearing your crystal necklace in the shower, to swim or getting it wet. Not only will it reduce the quality of the chain and wire, some crystals can not get wet - for example Selenite, Malachite, Pyrite & Peacock Ore. 

7. How can I cleanse my crystals or crystal jewellery?

Please avoid cleansing your crystal necklace in water as this can lessen its life span and can ruin some crystals. There are many other ways to cleanse and recharge your crystals for example:

• Under the full moon (either on a window sill where it can reach the light from the full moon or outside under the moon. Be careful of dew or rain getting onto your jewellery as this may lessen its life spam and some crystals cannot get wet.

• In a bowl of brown rice. To do this, fill a bowl with dry brown rice and bury your stone beneath the grains. Leave for about 24 hours. Dispose of the rice immediately after the cleansing, as the rice is said to have absorbed the energy you’re trying to eradicate.

• Sage - If you’re unable to smudge outdoors, make sure you’re near an open window. This will allow the smoke and negative energy to disperse. When you’re ready, ignite the tip of the sage with the flame. Transfer the sage to your nondominant hand and firmly grasp your stone and move it through the smoke. Allow the smoke to envelop the stone for about 30 seconds. If it’s been a while since your last cleansing — or you feel the stone is holding onto a lot — consider smudging for an additional 30 seconds.

• Incense - You can cleanse your crystals by burning incense and waving the smoke over your crystals. You may use any incense of your choice.

8. Where is your jewellery made? 

All jewellery is hand crafted by me in Sydney, Australia.

10. How do I know which crystal to choose? 

I always recommend following your intuition and picking the crystal you are most drawn to. When looking at crystals pay attention to what calls out to you and what you are drawn to. This is likely the crystal for you. If you miss out on the crystal you wanted, it was not meant to be. The right crystal will find you when it is meant to be. There are no rules to this, just follow your intuition. 

12. What is the best way to layer multiple necklaces?

There are no rules on how to wear your jewellery but I recommend wearing your biggest/chunkiest pieces on a longer chain. The smaller more petite pieces on the shorter chain. 

When layering I recommend approximately 4 inches between the chain lengths, unless the pendant on the shorter chain is extremely tiny you may get away with 2 inches between the lengths.

14. Is pickup available?

Pick up is an option. Please select local pick up during check out if you would like to collect your order from St Clair, NSW. Please contact me on 0425 184 369 to arrange the collection of your order.

15. What is your refund policy?

All sales are final. There is no refunds, returns or cancellations.

Crescent Crystals has a 14 day return policy for damaged or faulty items. Crescent Crystals does not offer refunds on change of mind purchases or if a product was purchased incorrectly. Please ensure you read each product description carefully to ensure it is suitable for you.

If on the rare instance you do receive a faulty item please email jasmine@crescentcrystals.com.au within 48 hours with a clear picture of the product showing the damage or fault along with your order number. Please note that all crystals are different and will have their own imperfections, this is what makes them so unique and special.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, Crescent Crystals cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

16. Can I check out someone else’s live sale order or story sale order?

No, if you check out someone else’s order you will be refunded. Please only check out your own order or message me if you will be adding a friend order to your cart to combine the shipping.

17. Do you offer warranty?

All Crescent Crystal products come with a 30 day warranty from date of purchase. Warranty does not cover damage or loss, general wear & tear, broken chains, tarnishing or not following care instructions correctly. Please ensure you read jewellery care to get the maximum life out of your jewellery.

18. Handmade Disclaimer:

All Crescent Crystal necklaces are hand crafted by me. This means that by nature they may have imperfections. Please note as the crystals are natural they also may have natural imperfections or inclusions. No two pieces will be exactly the same which is why every piece is unique and special!
